The 2003 Award Recipient, The Fighting 69th
This past year, the Thirteen-Fifty Foundation presented its inaugural Third Fold Memorial Conferment. The award was bestowed upon The Fighting 69th.

For more than 150 years, The Fighting 69th has served the United States, fighting at the Battle of Bull Run, Antietam, and Gettysburg; serving in the Spanish-American War, the Mexican Border Campaign, the two World Wars and of course serving on the home front at Ground Zero on 9/11. The Thirteen-Fifty Foundation presented the Third Fold Memorial Conferment to The Fighting 69th in recognition of its outstanding history of dedicated service to the United States of America, specifically at the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001 and the days that followed the terrorist attacks. The Fighting 69th has gallantly served our Nation in the highest traditions of the U.S. Armed Services.
